Man United to play in SA.



 





English premiership side Manchester United will play two Absa premiership sides.

The 19-time English champions will face Amazulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on July 18 and go on to face the AJAX Cape Town on July 21 at the Cape Town Stadium.
The first match will take place on the former president Nelson Mandela’s birthday.
Fans will get a chance to sing happy birth day Madiba Song during the course of the match.
Tickets will sell for between R150 and R350 for both matches.

Nyandoro to play in a central defence role

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder  Esrom Nyandoro  to play in a new central defence role for Zimbabwe against Burindi this weekend in the 2013 qualifer for afcon in South Africa.

Nyandoro has been called back into the national team to help inexperienced players.
"I was called back in to help guide the likes of (Knowledge) Musona and (Khama) Billiat. Then I was asked to play in defence and to talk to the younger players, which is fine," said  Nyandoro in an interview he had with kick off magazine.

Nyandoro will bring wealth of experience into the national team.He is the most capped player in his current national team followed by Tinashe Nengomasha and then Tapuwa Kapini.

Bafana to revive themselve against Gabon

Bafana Bafana will lock horns with Gabon in an international friendly in Nelspruit on Friday.
The Steve khompela troops will go in to the mach coming from to dissapointing draws in the 2014 world cup qualifiers.While SAFA is busy assessing possible candidates for the Bafana coaching post,the boys will have to win back the nations support.its reported that  the side will be without rested captain Steven Pienaar, Bongani Khumalo, Thanduyise Khuboni, Oupa Manyisa and Katlege Mphela.

Bucs to realese Boubacar Talatou and Lizo Mjempu

Orlando Pirates will release midfielder Boubacar Talatou, while Lizo Mjempu is set to join another PSL side.

Talatou joined The Buccaneers at the start of the 2011/12 season after turning down an offer from Bloemfontein Celtic, who initially made the proposal for him to come to South Africa.

The Niger international failed to play a full 90 minutes for Pirates and his agent, Dennis Idrissa, will meet Irvin Khoza this week to arrange a settlement for the remaining two years on the player’s contract.

Meanwhile, Mjempu is set to join Bidvest Wits, who are on the lookout for a new leftback following Patrick Phungwayo’s imminent departure to Orlando Pirates.According to a report on kick website.


 

Mashaba has unfinished business with Bafana

 Ephraim “Shakes” Mashaba still has unfinished business with Bafana Bafana.


Mashaba is the only coach to have led a South African team to the Olympics in 2000; he had a successful stint with the senior national team after winning the Cosafa tournament in 2003; and qualified the team for the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia.
