Lidoda Duvha's fairytale ends

Black Leopards' dream run in the confed cup came to end on saturday after they played to a goalless draw against Al-Merreikh of Sudan at at Ellis Park, the Limpopo based team went into the match coming from 3-2 first leg defeat in Sudan.
Leopards needed  a 1-0 or 2-1 victory which would've seen them through to the next stage of the competition.Lidoda Duvha surprised many with their bravery performance in the cup, which saw them defeating  Motor Action of Zimbabwe, Saint Elio Lupopo of the DRC and Nigerians Warri Wolves in the previous rounds.
Al-Merreikh made it difficult for Black Leopards to attack by playing a defensive game. The limpopo outfit was without some of their key players such as Raymond Monama and Kingston  Nkhatha, who have been sold to other teams.Leopards will now shift their focus to the Absa premiership which will resume in August.
